Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

  The spot is Amazing , well decorated and equipped , the surroundings beautiful . We enjoyed every minutes of our stay . Only one thing is they stated they had a pool table but we couldn’t use it due to repair. Wish they had mentioned this in advance. Overall great place for a weekend getaway

  We rented this cabin for 3 days and 4 nights. We had family come and join us for a weekend getaway. We had so much fun making memories. Only downside was the steep driveway but thankfully we had driven our SUVs. Overall we loved our stay.

  There were a few minor things that were overlooked, ex. The closet door in one of the upstairs bedrooms casa broken, the upstairs bathroom toilet paper holder was broken and there was not a single garbage bag in sight.

  Hello ,
  This is a Beautiful cabin clean and quiet. The reason I am giving this property a 1 for location ,the cabin was about 25 min from downtown Bryson city . When they say you need a 4x4 I would highly recommended it, the trail has a 11 %incline . This location is great for someone who is looking to stay at the cabin and enjoy the out doors , Not for driving back and forth . I also will let you know it dose have some Mountain View’s but the trees need to be trimmed down so you can enjoy them . You can see the mountains from the second story not from the porch .

  The House was Beautiful, a lot of natural lighting. The AC didn't work the entire time we were there, which was a bummer. There wasn't much of a lawn or grass but there was a fully functional Hot Tub that was relaxing. The Fire Place and grill were on their last legs, rusted and broke down. Overall, we all had a great time. A bit worried about being fined for all the broken and unuseable stuff but we just took pictures before we touched anything, just in case. I think it would be a fantastic cabin for the Colder months, not so much for summer.

  We had a nice visit to Creek and a View. I will say that it may seem misleading to some visitors, because although you can hear the creek, its down the road a little from the cabin so its not "right" there as you would think. The view isn't your typical open spacious mountain view, but I enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the creek and seeing the fog roll in over the mountains in the distance. The cabin itself was very nice, although very basic. A few more towels and other extras would have been nice. They only provide one trash bag and toilet paper, so you need to get your own. My biggest negative...water pressure. The showers were very nice, but man the water pressure was like a trickle. So by the time the women got their hair washed and rinsed out, the hot water was gone :) The hot tub is awesome, the fireplace and the open floor plan is great, and the decor and upkeep were in good shape. It is a nice place, and we would visit again, just be more prepared next time.

  The cabin was nicely decorated,in mostly good condition except for a leaking kitchen faucet and master room window not locking. Appliances can use updating also the pots and kitchen essentials. Was nice to have the extra bedding,towels and blankets. The worst part is definitely the drive to the cabin especially at night (6pm) no good signs, bumpy road, very steep and tight corners also the creek was not visible from the cabin but a short walk away.The views were amazing especially in the morning. Took a few days to shake the fear of leaving curtains open with being in the middle of nowhere.Town was about a 25 min drive. Locals were friendly (waved when we drove by) Rocking chairs were awesome at night with hot chocolate. Fire pit and hot tub were good. Spoke a couple times with rental comp.very professional and friendly. I have a AWD S-I-l has a 2x4, we struggled so you definitely need a 4x4 in snow weather.

  Hot tub was perfect, back porch was great for sitting, mountains, trees, & water were wonderful. Pool table was in disrepair, the cabin is secluded in that you can't see the other cabins because of tree cover, but you can still hear the other people.

  Everything was perfect. Except getting to the cabin is not easy. They said the road is marked. Its not. Drove to the neighbors house and he wasn't pleased at all I drove onto his property. That is my only complaint.

  We love this cabin such as the layout, amenities, space and wonderful warm feeling! We think the location is great and enjoy the privacy that is offered. Such a wonderful view of the mountains! The only issue we experienced were ants on the kitchen sink area, we recommend that management do a quarterly nontoxic spray...although we know we're in the woods, we definitely do not want to deal with the ants being in the kitchen. This is minor and won't keep us from renting again!

  First of all, I give this company 5 stars on their service. The cabin was very nice and very clean. We were there for the train ride in Bryson City. The only issues we had was how far it was from downtown and there really needs to be some better signs put up along the route, especially the last mile or two. Also, there was little to no cell service there. Texting was about it.
  
  Although I wouldn’t book this cabin personally, I will use Yellow Rose again. They go out of there way to help you and are very friendly.

  This rental is spacious, with beautiful scenery. Overall this is a great rental. Areas that need improvement: pillows are flat and the spare pillows, I could not find any pillowcases for. The hot tub jets are weak and make you just float up. There is a propane fireplace that you can't use, which would have been nice. There are 3 TVs but only the one in the living room will give you channels to watch. I think there could be some improvements to this property, but I still can't not recommend this place because of the beauty. Drive up to the house is narrow in spots and bumpy in some places.

  Need to have instructions up front to know that the breaker trips for the central unit and so this can be a quick fix and not have to call the after hours number. The pool table is worn and only has one pool stick. This has been noted in months past, but apparently ignored. The cabin location if good if you want to be off the beaten path and the sound of the stream from the front porch is absolutely serene if you are needing an escape. The cabin was extremely clean. Just those two issues that aren't major, but would be easy fixes just as respect to customers.

  Great view. Beautiful property. Location very disappointing and hard to get to. Need more signage into the property. GPS non functional and directions in woefully inadequate. It’s also 30 minutes from Bryson City. Kitchen riddled with ants.

  We stayed at Creek with a View twice in the past two years. We love it here! We have stayed at several different cabins in the past and this is our favorite. The view is amazing and the creek with a waterfall is just a short walk from the cabin where you can relax and enjoy the sounds of the rushing waterfall. This place has everything you could ask for in a cabin rental. Perfect for kids and adults. The folks at Yellow Rose are very professional and accomodating.
