The perfect family vacation destination – a secluded cabin in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains and surrounded by the National Park, you will LOVE the view from the hot tub, as you relax and enjoy the clouds over the mountains in the morning or the quiet sounds of nature in the evening. Or maybe your family wants to spend time in the game room, full with a pool table and foosball table (complete with its own kitchenette and wine cooler)!

The view from this home speaks for itself, but the interior of the home is beautiful as well. Hemlock Ridge has three queen beds, a full futon, and three twin beds. The kids will enjoy the “kids cubby” upstairs, while the adults get the privacy of their own bedrooms as well. You can enjoy dinner out on the deck, or sit by the hot tub in the reading nook on the wrap-around porch.

Getting to the home is part of the fun! Even the drivers who are uneasy about driving up mountain roads should be comfortable on this road, going by the river through the Needmore Community, 20 minutes outside of downtown Bryson City. When you get to the house itself, you’ll be surprised by how secluded it is from the rest of town – simply leaving you to be with nature.

Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!
Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

  This vacation home was perfect for the 10 of us. The Deck was the daily hangout. There is plenty of room in the house and the kitchen is stocked with all the necessities! The house was very clean and everything worked as it should. Close enough to Bryson City and Wessers which we enjoyed!

  The view was very very beautiful! The road to get up was a little hard since we are not used to the mountain roads but you can get up there . The house was bigger then I expected looks better in person then in the photos ! The staff was very friendly and Everything was working well except the basement shower the water would come out screeching hot for some reason but other then that the hot tub was amazing the fire pit was so nice to use it was a very cozy warm stay the views were just wow . We will definitely come back my family loved staying here !!

  Enjoyed the. Very spacious. Was disappointed that the internet did not work and when I called Yellow Rose they told me they would fix it but never heard back. The best part of the view was thru the french doors and the knob was broken so you could not open the doors. I was told that the knob was ordered. it was a standard knob you could get from Lowes. We found a rats nest in one of the drawers. If they can clean these things up and give better customer service it would make the world of difference.

  We there for 5 days, the view and hot tub were amazing but thats about it. The only thing that was clean was the beds and sheets, that's literallyit, there was dust and whatever else all over the place so bad that my family and I had sinus problems the whole time that we were there. The basement where the pool table is was infested with centipedes and the pool table was so filthy that we didn't even want to use it, and also the mildew smell down there was so strong that you could hardly breath. The balcony door was broken and couldn't be used, all of the lights outside except for two by the jacuzzi was out and a few other issues. I went and personally told the realtor about this during our stay and nothing was done. So, I would recommend for the view but thats it.

  First the Good. It is a beautiful place. If you are looking for wonderful views and a beautiful home this is the place. It is very quiet and peaceful. Lots of room and the kitchen was great. All the pots, pans, and kitchen accessories you will need. Lots of deck and porch to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. Loved the hot tub and outdoor firepit. Now for the Between. It is out of the way. About 20 to 30 minutes to Bryson City. Some small convenience store closer. The drive up mountain isn't bad but could challenge some less capable drivers and vehicles. Now for the Bad. There is no fireplace. There is a wood burning stove in the living area. Nice but not the same as a fireplace. There is a electric stove in the game room that was never hooked up, so it couldn't be used and it got a little cold down there when the rest of the house was very warm. The pool ques and darts were broken. Took till day 4 to get them replaced. Lights out throughout the house. Door knobs loose and broken. Two were to outside doors so we had to tape the jams to be able to use them. The barn door on one of the bedrooms was broken so we had to jerry rig it so it wouldn't fall on someone. There was a older VW van parked outside the window of that same bedroom. Only thing you could see out the window. Wasn't as clean as you would expect for $160 cleaning ... dust and bugs in light fixtures. For $245 a night I would expect more than we got. Property Management did correct the pool que and dart problem. The rest remained for the entire 7 day stay.

  We loved the stay! It’s very beautiful and the view alone made it worth it. The only complaint I have is I booked the place because it included a pool table, which my family loves to play, however the pool sticks were broken (held together with tape) and none of them had felt tips left. That was a big disappointment! I would’ve saved money and chose a different cabin had I known that.

  The home and the view was beautiful!! We had a wonderful time in the hot tub, sitting on the deck and having campfires. Plenty of room for our friends to chill and go hiking! Very impressed by the security of our rental! We were not very happy to find out that we were out of water one day we came back and how we were treated during our stay like it was our fault the water went out. We were out of water for almost 24hours and it was like yellow rose didn’t seem to care. (We were staying during the COVID shut down so any facilities with restrooms were very hard to come by in the middle of the woods) After our stay they did give us a small refund, but it was not comparable to the time lost on our trip and the aggravation we were put through.

  The view was the best and it was very peaceful. Road was easy to travel, even in a Toyota Camry. There are 3 full bedrooms and a loft (not 4 bedrooms). Our main complaint was the cleanliness of the porches. The outdoor tables were dirty, there was mud and dirt. Also, wasp nests were under the 2nd floor deck. Owners van and surfboards were kind of an eyesore. Other than that, convenient to everything.
