Welcome to Rockdale Lodge in the Smoky Mountains! This 7 bedroom, 3.5 bath cabin rental accommodates up to 19 people in total comfort and luxury.

The moment you step into this astonishing vacation cabin, you are surrounded by marvelous decor and the beautiful warm tones. The charming main level living room features comfy seating, TV and a marvelous stone accented fireplace.

Adjoining the living area is the fully equipped kitchen. Prepare, cook and serve a mouthwatering dinner, savory lunch or delicious breakfast from the comfort of your Smoky Mountain cabin rental.

Also located on the main level of Rockdale Lodge is comfortable and relaxing master bedroom with a king bed. The master bath offers a large soaking tub for two.

Take a walk downstairs and you’ll enter the astonishing second floor living area. Here you can take in the mountain view from the large picture windows. Sit back and relax while watching TV on one of the sofas or head over to the game room for some really fun and exciting times. In the gaming area, you’ll be able to keep everyone smiling and entertained Jump in and play a game or sit back and watch the competition unfold.

On the lower level of Rockdale Lodge offers an exhilarating pool table game room. Gather round with all your friends and family and play in your very own entertaining pool tournament.

The game room also features mini kitchen area with mini fridge. Just off of the game room is the wonderful media room. Here’s where you and your guests can prop your feet up and watch your favorite sports teams, movies or TV shows on the big screen.

  The area was lovely and private, clean and located in easy stance of several destinations. While the house is listed to accommodate a large number of people, it is in reality not suited for such a large number (1 bathroom in master = 2 bathrooms for remainder of people for showers, etc). Several appliances needed maintenance or repair (stove did not work, ice cube maker was hit or miss).

  This was the second year our group of 8 guys have stayed at the Rockdale Lodge on our annual golf trip to the mountains of Western NC. This house is perfect for our group with plenty of beds and all the amenities we are looking for. The back deck has an outstanding view of the mountains and we enjoy grilling out and relaxing there. The only negative to the house is the road up the hill from the paved road could use some work but the accommodations at the house are outstanding. Yellow Rose Rentals are also great to work with and are very responsive to any questions we had.

  We stayed at Rockdale Lodge for a week in July. We had 17 people with plenty of space for everyone. The main floor was nice and open so people could hang out in the kitchen, dining area, or living room and still feel connected. The deck right off of the main living area offered great views, seating, and a grill.
  
  We also spent much of our time downstairs where the game area was. Our family enjoyed the pool table, which also converts to a ping pong table. There is also a sitting area in the basement, so those who weren’t playing could also hang out near by.
  
  Bedrooms: the one thing I was looking for before we went, but couldn’t find in the descriptions, reviews or by calling the company. The main floor has 4 bedrooms - 1. king master suite (with attached bathroom), 2. Queen room 3. Queen Room, 4. 3 Twin beds
  Downstairs has 3 bedrooms - 1. Queen bed 2. Full bed and crib 3. King bed and twin bunk beds
  
  As others have said in previous reviews - the house is located on a shared drive that is gravel and rather steep. We took the last turn wide as others suggested and did not have any trouble, but can definitely see how some would have trouble.
  
  We all have a great time at this house and would definitely stay here again!

  We had a complete full house of all ladies for a weekend retreat. There was plenty of space for everyone. The open floor plan worked well for our meetings and meals. We were able to cook, talk, visit and have our meetings all together. The ladies mingled, talked, cooked, ate, we had a craft project with some at the bar some at the table and some at the table on the deck. There were enough beds for everyone. The air conditioning and the hot tub worked well. The deck was beautifully arranged and a beautiful view. There was no problem with the code to get in or out. The far end drive was a little tricky to get out of but the first side was good. The parking space was great! We had 8 cars and no problems with the double width driveway. A couple cars were parked in the garage and we all backed in so we didn't have to back out. The drive up the mountain was curvy but we took it slow. The driving directions were good. We all planned to arrive before sunset because there are no street lights. This was a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. We didn't use the grill or fireplace. When we arrived the first thing I noticed was how clean everything was. We notified them of one problem and they remedied it for us. Our ladies had a great weekend and are still talking about the memories we made.

  Rockdale Lodge is a fantastic place to stay. There are plenty of rooms so that everyone could spread out. We had several teenagers who loved the pool table and hot tub. We were only there 2 nights and spent the full day at the Great Smoky Mountain RR. Wish we had been able to stay a couple more nights. The gravel drive (Primrose) is pretty steep and rough in places. That was the only thing that was a surprise.

  We had 14 family members ranging in age from 1 to 70. So many different places to hangout. Decks on 2 floors, fire pit, 2 family rooms and a large kitchen. The house was very clean and well equipped. The only issue we has was the last turn coming to the house as 3 of 4 cars had wheels spinning upon our arrival. You just need to swing wide and we had no problem.
  Property Management team gets 5+ stars. They were so helpful from the time we booked til we were leaving the driveway. Highly recommend this Beautiful home.

  My husband and I hosted our staff and families for three nights at Rockdale Retreat. It was the perfect spot for 17 people. Plenty of space for small group and large group gatherings.   One of a kind. We got there with no water or power. Cleaning crew left, said if we wanted to vacuum, it was in the basement. Due to no power they couldn't. However I have no clue why they couldn't come back! So they cut their cleaning short. Not enough garbage bags, tp or paper towels were left, we had to buy more. They said they notified us of the outtage, but I have no record and received no message. Possibly a misdial. All 4 garbage cans were full when we arrived. They did empty the day before we left. ***It was a lovely home and worked out great for our family. The view out back was really nice.***

  We stayed a week in this great house for our family's annual July 4th reunion. It was amazing. Huge pantry so we didn't have to load up countertops with groceries. great game room so I could get my grandkids hooked on pool (didn't get to play ping pong because the net was broken). Lots of beds so nobody had to sleep on the couch. Lots of table and bartop seating so nobody had to eat out of their lap during meals. Great covered back deck. It was great to be able to back into the garage since we had rain when we were packing up to leave. Convenient location for visiting several nearby towns for shopping and eating out and for whitewater tubing and rafting. Our only low point was that a storm knocked out power the afternoon of our last day and no power means no water so we had no showers, lights, or AC during the rest of our stay and had to pack up and leave under those conditions. I know a generator is a big ask but this would have been disastrous if it had happened earlier in our visit. We lost power momentarily a few times during the week also. Cell service is weak but wireless internet was fine until the power went out.
