Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

If bringing or riding motorcycles, please call and ask for motorcycle friendly properties.   The cabin was great and well equipped. Great water pressure! The only complaints I have is the ridiculous dots of soap. Brig your own soap. Secondly, they turn the gas off on the fireplace 4.15, bummer!!!

  Yellow Rose was amazing to deal with! I wouldn't hesitate to rent from them again. As far as this property, I know several people have commented on the road getting there and it is a long road but it is paved and after a time or two it's not a bad drive. It is approximately 10 miles off 74 and very winding through the mountains. If you (like me) suffer from motion sickness you'll want to be prepared. I got the wrist bands and that helped a lot. The house is very secluded and private which is nice. The bed is quite hard and the sofa springs are shot but we managed to figure out how to get comfortable on the sofa. We couldn't handle the bed and actually left and forfeited our 2 free nights. The kitchen was nicely stocked and unlike a lot of rentals the pots and pans were quite nice. It was a nice place if you're looking for solitude.

  This is a beautiful cabin, my family and I had a great experience there. The only downside is the drive to get to the house was a bit scary without 4 wheel drive, I definitely recommend that you do have 4 wheel drive but otherwise a great place to stay.

  We spent a few days at the Up The Creek cabin. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. The running creek was nice to listen to relaxing on the porch. We used the fire pit and enjoyed that. The hot tub was clean. All the bedrooms were comfortable. Plenty of lights outside as well. Just be aware it is a hike up to the cabin and pretty secluded so if thats what your looking for this is the place.

  Our Cabin vacation was wonderful. It was our first time staying in a cabin and the scenery was beautiful. The cabin was nicely decorated, clean, spacious and equipped with modern appliances. The kids loved the game room and hot tub. We had a chance to visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park which we enjoyed very much. Also, we enjoyed a drive to Gatlinburg Tenn. It's certainly a vacation spot we would take again. The booking staff was very friendly and helpful.

  On vacation from Florida, loved this cabin, super clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Loved the creek out back and relaxed on the patio listening to the creek water. Steep mountain to drive coming up to the cabin, it was a little scary the first few times, but BEAUTIFUL!! Definitely would recommend this cabin to anyone. Pet friendly! Was able to bring our two small dogs and they had a great time! Looking forward to coming back again.

  Overall we had a good experience with our rental. The check-in process was easy. As long as you follow the instructions in the email, it was easy to find the place. When we arrived at the place we found the house to be nice. Upon entering the house, we did have some cleaning issues (dried food on the counter, missing shower door on the downstairs bathroom, dirt along baseboards, nicked/marked up walls and trash from previous tenants filled up outside garbage cans). As others mentioned in previous reviews, we did have an issue getting the fireplace working. We sent an email on Sunday about the fireplace and trash, expecting a call back or response on Monday during business hours, but did not hear back and had to call again Monday afternoon. They did send someone out to pick up the trash, but we did not get someone out until Wednesday to look at the fireplace. Once they cleaned out the gas nozzle it worked fine.
  
  The internet is satellite based so you won't be streaming tv or anything, but it worked fine for our needs and was able to participate in a couple of Zoom work meetings. If you have ATT for your mobile provider you will not/not have cell service.
  
  All in all, I think if they freshen up the paint inside and pay a bit more attention to the cleaning we would be back.

  The house is up a very winding road, something you don’t want to do at night. The house needs a good cleaning! Could not use the fireplace much because pilot light kept going out, very disappointed! Love the gas grill.

  Excellent Home, brand new carpet, brand new grill tied into home propane tank, kitchen is fully equipped. Trash was taken couple times during the week. Creek down hillside has a switchback path to it and picnic table. house sits on 10 Acres of secluded forest. The road in is a unique and narrow mountain road but this is a paved maintained road so any vehicle can access. Would be hesitant to rent during snow months for access but otherwise is a great location and would absolutely rent here again.
