Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

  The cabin is exactly as pictured and even more relaxing. I do advise you adhere to the owners directions and not the GPS. Once you entwine the roads there, please expect to be blown away by the view and the cabin

  If you’re looking for a remote location away from people, this is perfect. The views from the deck are unparalleled. Note that you’re going to spend 15 minutes on a single Lane gravel road to get to the cabin but you will be by yourself. We had a mama bear and two cubs come up onto the gravel parking area while we were there. The view is so beautiful that I bought my daughter, a watercolor set to paint it.

  Amazing view! Cabin was nice. Long steep narrow gravel road with sharp turns but so worth it! My minivan made it up and down just fine. Comfortable beds. Nice hot tub. Rat snake does live under hot tub but is harmless. Plenty of kitchenware. Would definitely stay again!

  We always look forward to staying here. Everyone loves the view, seclusion, and layout of the cabin. Main living room furniture update is a major plus. Finally! Probably not the best place for someone who isn't accustomed to driving curvy dirt roads up a mountain. However, the view is worth the drive! A few things need updating or fixing: the hot tub needs to be updated because the jets aren't that strong. Seems worse than our last visit. AC went out the day before we left. Definitely wasn't pleasant in the upper level of the house without air. Need better pest control. My son found little black bugs in his bed. Kitchen sink faucet needs to be fixed. The whole thing moved when turning on the water. Many wasp nests outside the house. We bought wasp spray and took care of some due to my severe allergies to them. Left the can on top of fridge for future guests.
