  View was amazing. The accommodations were everything you could ask for. Super clean and spacious. Linens were especially nice. Kitchen had everything you could want. Nice gas grill. Hot tub sparkly clean and fresh.I have stayed at 2 of their properties now and I will try another one next. I would like a king bed next time and 2 recliners. All in all it was a total 10 in rating. I highly recommend. We'll be back.

  We enjoyed a relaxing and quiet Christmas vacation at this cabin! The view of the sunrise over the Smoky Mountains was phenomenal!! We also really enjoyed the hot tub. The price was fair for all of the amenities this place had. We also liked the location as it wasn't too far away from Bryson City but still far enough to feel secluded. When we first entered the cabin (after an exhausting nine hour drive) there was water standing on the floor from the washing machine going out into the dining area. We were told just to turn off the line to the washer and dry it up with towels. Maintenance showed up the next day to fix it. The kitchen and bathroom faucets dripped non-stop and two of the stove burners did not work. These were all tolerable things but still kind of annoying. My only true complaint was that there was no Christmas tree. The neighboring cabin had two in it. We took all of our gifts from home to open on Christmas day so that was kind of a let down for my kids. Otherwise, a superb trip! Lots of good memories were made here with my children.

  We did enjoy our Thanksgiving week vacation. However, it just felt like a house more than a cabin, which is what we are used to. The hot tub was amazing and the views were amazing. It was clean. The fire place inside was difficult to keep lit. Kitchen supplies were adequate. At last minute I decided to bring my hair dryer, which I'm glad I did. The location was great for what we wanted to do. I'm glad we got there during the day, as the turn into the driveway was quite sharp. Overall our stay was fine, just not as cozy as we like in the mountains.

  First of all, the place was NOT dirty like the previous review states. My dogs absolutely loved running in the yard. Kitchen is equipped with clean necessities. Gas grill with gas. The hot tub clean & very relaxing. My sheets smelled fresh & were blue & white as a bonus. Working washer & dryer. Private drive with a gate. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. *Best perk? Miami dolphin wine glasses! Made my trip! :)

  It was just what I was looking for! There wasn't any misleading pictures, or information. It had everything I wanted. Fireplace, fire pit, hot tub and secluded. Is it updates not really... Does it matter to me? No. It was splendid. If it was updated and everything perfect then you'd be paying more. Excellent cabin for the money.

  You never truly know what you get until you get there, especially when every decision you make is a bit last minute. However we were not disappointed when we arrived. The view was beautiful, it was a gated area, and it was like having your own private mountain to explore. The cottage was cute and the hot tub was very relaxing. There are a few things that needed updated; the little gate by the porch needed to be fixed, the porch needed some love, the counter in kitchen was a bit broken, the furniture in living room was outdated, and I think there were termites in the roof. It would have been nice to know there was a house next door, I could not locate any extra trash bags but they wanted everything bagged in the trashcan outside, and that a main hwy was a close part of your main view. That all being said, it was quiet, quant, and a nice stay for a few days.

  The inside was a little misleading based on the pictures shown. The kitchen had a couple of pieces Of tile missing off the front of the counter top So it would snag ur shirt if you weren’t careful and one piece by the stove. The lighting in the dining room and family room were somewhat hard to figure out as there’s so many to choose from and 5 builds weren't working. Lamp in one bedroom didn’t work. Dust bunnies and hairs behind bathroom doors. The sofa was very old with torn cushions and very squeaky. Road noice in back yard that was surprising to hear. The house is located in a nice and quiet gated community up a hill sitting behind another home that was being painted while we were there.

  Booked last minute online without contact with Yellow Rose prior to ask questions. I received email confirmation & directions the next day following sending email agreeing to rental terms. Saved money (~$100) booking direct vs on Home Away. Steep drive but able to back in with dually truck w no issues (better than going in fwd). Property was clean inside. Liked open floorplan. View from bench was very pretty; sat out there morning and night - Just ignore the highway below as others mentioned (noise wasn't too bad) and the power lines. Enjoyed hot tub daily and porch swing. Location was great for us – central to our purpose (~20 min to Fontana Dam or Bryson City, ~40 min to Tail of dragon or Cherokee GSM park entrance). There was 1 flat screen TV, but it had terrible picture with lines running through it and had issue w on/off switch/volume. We weren't really there to watch TV, just at end of long hiking day before bed so not too big of a deal. As far as beds, I thought queen but husband thought full. Our kid thought the bed was fine but we found the master bed wasn't comfortable for us so didn't get good sleep. Also fan in the master was loose at the ceiling so it rattled through the night. Those 2 factors along with forecasted full day of rain our last day, we left a night early. We didn't try the futon, but in my opinion, it was better than the old couch with ill-fitting slipcover. Glad we brought our own mini grill, the one there would have needed a good deep cleaning before use. All other kitchen/bath amenities were good (enough pans/silverware/towels/washer & dryer). We took our own spices, soap, paper towels and toilet paper. Overall we were satisfied for price we paid. Rented boat from Alarka dock (about 15-20 min) which was farther than Almond, but I believe cheaper rates – paid $360 all-day using half tank gas & inter-tube for brand new pontoon. Andrews Derailed restaurant in Bryson City had good food.

  Gabby at Yellow Rose Realty was great to work with. We had an issue with another property and needed an immediate place to stay. She helped us get into this cabin smoothly and efficiently. This cabin was everything we needed. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook meals. Beds were comfortable. Used the hot tub every night. We loved the fire pit. The view from the bench was breathtaking. The entrance to the “neighborhood “ was gated. The road was steep but since it was paved there were no issues getting to the cabin. Short drive to Bryson City. Perfect place to relax with family.

  The cabin was not clean when we arrived and the vacuum cleaner did not work.
  
  We contacted Yellow Rose and they had a cleaning crew to the cabin the next day. The cleaning crew did a good job and Yellow Rose was prompt in addressing the problem.
  
  The cabin is in a nice location, but could stand some TLC by the owner.
