Looking for an easy access cabin? Look no further, Barefoot Memories is the perfect Bryson City or Cherokee Cabin Rental for you! This 2 bedroom 1 bath is located just 15 minutes from Downtown Bryson City and 10 minutes from Downtown Cherokee. This cabin is great for families that are on the go from activity to activity or the families that are looking to just hang out and out and relax.

Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

If bringing or riding motorcycles, please call and ask for motorcycle friendly properties.   Stayed here for an anniversary trip. Nice little cabin. Recliner was broken but already knew this due to reading reviews of the property. Front door was tricky to open, almost like the knob was sticking. Only complaint was that I did observe a few live german cockroaches in the kitchen and several dead roaches in the cabinets. This surprised me as the cabin itself was otherwise extremely clean.

  Great cabin. Only 8 minutes from Cherokee. We had fun with our little family. Only thing I will say is; it’s not the cabin pictured so the hot tub is located in the back, not on the porch like pictured. A lot of mosquitoes in the hottub area since it’s enclosed on 3 sides. No wifi.

  We rented this cabin due to the proximity of Harrah's. We attended a concert there but didn't want to stay super close. This cabin was just close enough and very peaceful. Loved sitting on the porch drinking coffee in the mornings. Everything was clean and the cabin was well stocked. Would definitely stay here again.

  An adventure from the get-go. Key lockbox was difficult. Noticed lots of repairs needed. Recliner in living room broken (?) and dangerous, fluorescent light above sink wasn't working, lights on walkway/porch were missing, no laundry basket for wet towels nor broom/dustpan, jets in hot tub problematic, hot tub area felt outdated and grimy, ramp to hot tub could use a cleaning and some non-slip treads, fascia boards getting damaged by birds (possibly pecking for insects, carpenter bee eggs) front door could use a curtain of some sort for night time privacy.
  The cabin you have pictured was the far left of the three. We were in the far right.

  Parking for our cabin was awkward/steep as were the concrete steps up to the cabin.
  The beds slept well. Interior woodwork quite nice.
  The view from the porch was nice with all the trees. A bit of noise from the road.

  The place was really nice over all the cabin was comfortable a clean. There were a few things that need to be replaced. Furniture needs to be replaced. Chair was broken the couch was old. The light over the sink was not working. It would have been nice to have a broom to sweap up. The host never came by not even once. We stayed in the cabin 5 days a never seen them. Needed more garbage bags sence they said you had to bring your garbage outside to the can. But it was a great location a very quiet. We enjoyed ourselves other than that.

  It was a nice stay,2 nights. We liked the rustic cabin, with modern conveniences. Only one problem, the shower didn't work, we could take a bath but the shower actuator wouldn't work. We called the emergency number and they offered to come right out to help, but we had somewhere we had to be so we didn't worry about it.

  The cabin was in a beautiful location and very convenient to all Cherokee attractions. The cabin was clean and inviting. I had a problem locating the property but that was because someone had apparently knocked down the sign for the road leading to the cabin. I called management (after hours) and they were EXTREMELY helpful, walking me through step-by-step how to find the property; excellent management support! I would recommend this company and property to anyone and look forward to booking it again in the future!

  We stayed in Barefoot Memories cabin and overall there was few complaints. The cabin was clean, cozy, and a quiet location while still close to Cherokee. I appreciated the call from the company during our stay just to check in and make sure all was good. I would recommend some things. First is the lights. Several bulbs were out inside and outside. The latch to the door lock was on the table when we arrived instead of on the door. Also the reclining chair is broken and you can see where people have been hitting the wall with it, damaging the wall. Also the privacy screen for the hot tub needs replaced or redesigned. And the sink in the half bath is very slow draining. Again these things are really minor in the scheme of things but things that would improve the stay. I really enjoyed my stay there.

  We had a great time staying here. The cabin was very clean & nice. Close to both Cherokee & hiking trails we wanted to go to. Hot tub was clean & working great.
  The only things I can see needing updating is the recliner & the ramp to the hot tub needs repairing. Other than that the place was nice & I will be back & would suggest it to others!

  The cabin was nice and very clean. However, there was no remote for the TV. When I called the office twice and left a message before 5:00 I got no return call. I sent 2 messages through the website, no answer. I called the 24/7 number after finally finding it. She transferred me to the host and when she answered, the phone disconnected. My husband figured out that if you sit on the floor with the cable box, you could change the station. It was very inconvenient. Also, one of the reasons I picked the cabin was because it looked in the pictures like there was a recliner. A recliner is comfortable for me due to back issues. Well, the chair was an old broke down recliner that no longer reclines and felt like sitting in a hole. I finally got an email from customer support on Sunday morning. We were there from Fri. Aug 6-Mon. Aug 9. By Sun. morning, it was a little late for support. Thank you

  I enjoyed the stay except for one issue. I had booked this location because it had a hot tub. It did not work so I called the office to get it fixed. They said they would have someone come out to take a look and I never heard back so I called again. They said they would check and have someone come back out. Still no answer to whether they got it fixed or not. Upon my third call, they said oh yeah, he said there is something wrong with the brain of it and that it won’t get fixed.

  This cabin is excellent for a small group of people looking to get away. The house was immaculate as far as cleanliness. There is no smoking inside but a sand pot outside for convenience. The hot tub is enclosed on three sides with a shade that can be hung for privacy. A gas fireplace is available as well as a tv. The only downside is there is no wi-fi but, if you are looking for some time off the grid, this was not an issue. It is close to downtown but far enough away to feel like you are not in the middle of it. The only other downside is there is another cabin fairly close. There were no issues with this during our stay. Go to Barefoot Memories and watch the sunrise or take advantage of the excellent rocking chairs. (Seriously, someone who knew what they were doing made them). The beds are comfy, too. Enjoyed being there!

  The cabin was exactly as posted. Very clean and we loved the smell of the wood on the interior. The hot tube was wonderful. The couch was not very comfortable, not enough channels on tv to watch if it's raining. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and will be returning again. Owner was extremely polite and helpful.
