Lollis Cabin

The Lollis Cabin is decorated with antique memorabilia. You won’t be able to make any calls on the antique wall phone, but it’s one of many conversation pieces in the cabin.

The airy great room has plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the freestanding, cast iron gas fireplace and the cable TV. If you’d rather do your visiting outdoors, the front porch has rockers and view up the Valley towards the National Park. Or you can swap stories around the fire pit.

The kitchen is equipped with stove, toaster oven, refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. You’ll find all the utensils you need for cooking and dining. Whether you cook indoors or outside on the stone barbeque grill, there’s a large dining table for six convenient to the kitchen.

The cabin has two bedrooms – one with queen bed and one with a double bed; patchwork quilts and antique dressers. Linens are provided. The bath has an old-fashioned claw-foot tub with hand held shower, hair dryer, soaps and plenty of towels.

Heated and air-conditioned. Ceiling fans. Maximum occupancy of 4. No pets. No smoking. 2-night minimum.

Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

If bringing or riding motorcycles, please call and ask for motorcycle friendly properties.   We finally got to come here during peak season! We always enjoy the quiet porch in the mornings. We brought wood this year to use the fire pit, but didn’t even get a chance. The location is so close to so many things that we can do a little of everything—a little shopping, a little hiking, a little sightseeing on the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are plenty blankets in the cabin, and it’s well-equipped for our needs regarding food prep, etc. we always wish we could stay longer. I love the tub to soak in, and the water is nice and hot! Another reason we love this place is that while it’s in with other cabins, there is breathing room between them. There are other places that cost more or the same that are crammed next to each other. This is just the best value in the area for what we need in a getaway place.

  The Lollis cabin had everything we needed and more. It’s location was very close to Deep Creek section of Smoky Mountain Natiional Park. Downtown Bryson City was a short drive away.

  Cabin was in great location, it was pretty clean, a few spider webs and bugs which is to be expected. Front porch is fantastic. Really nice fire pit outside the cabin. The beds were very uncomfortable. We could not sleep they were so bad. My wife and I have been sore since we got back. There is No shower which is one of my biggest complaints. Only a bathtub.

  We enjoyed our stay so much. Although ours was a quick trip the cabin was perfect for us. It was located close to everything we wanted to see and do. We walked all around town and did some shopping for Christmas. The cabin had everything we needed. We had neighbors close by and enjoyed meeting them and making new friends.
