Cabin offers a queen bed in the first floor bedroom. The upstairs master has a King bed. Upstairs there is also a loft with the pool table and a door leading to an upper deck.

Bearfoot Nantahala is great for outdoor enthusiasts, with convenient access to the Nantahala River, Tsali Mountain Bike Trails, Fontana Lake, and Tuckaseegee River.

Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

If bringing or riding motorcycles, please call and ask for motorcycle friendly properties.   Overall the stay was great but every rental place needs to advertise what kind of coffee maker they have particularly when they’re in a remote location so that you can come prepared with the right type of coffee to fit the machine. Also written directions taped to the TV about Wi-Fi and TV instructions would be helpful.

  It was relaxing. Meet some very nice people. The grass did need to be cut. Let people know you do have to travel a gravel road for a bit before getting to the cabin but the directions were good.
