Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

  We had an awesome trip to North Carolina for Christmas and this cabin was perfect for our large family of 8. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. We did have an issue with the smoke detector in the kitchen going off anytime we opened or closed the heated oven. This was difficult because our youngest is autistic and he was highly disturbed by the noise. I would suggest that a checkout book be provided so that guests know exactly what to do with towels and bed linens before departure. Otherwise, we had a wonderful experience that I would recommend.

  This place feels like home. It has amazing views, fireplace keeps you nice and warm. We really enjoyed playing pool downstairs. This house was very clean and had everything you would need. The wifi isn’t the best but it was fine with us. Will definitely be coming back.

  Great stay. Views are beautiful. Looks like a postcard. You are actually on the side of a mountain but in a very private and gated area which felt very safe. Everything as pictured - extremely clean - very quiet and serene. A great getaway for the two of us.

  The house was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the view from the porch. Lovely mountains all around.
  The drive up to the house was steep but on a paves (asphalt) road that was easy to navigate.
