Location: Alarka, Bryson City- 4WD/AWD required. Not motorcycle friendly.

o 25 minutes to Cherokee’s Harrah Casino
o 15 minutes to Great Smoky Mountain Railroad
o 25 minutes to Nantahala Outdoor Center
o 1 hour and 30 minutes from Gatlinburg
o 1 hour and 30 minutes from Asheville

Amenities Provided: Cabins include basic linens, kitchenware, and a starter supply of paper products and toiletries. Guests are responsible for additional supplies.

o Minimum Age: Minimum age to rent is 25
o Pet Policy: This cabin is not pet-friendly. Undisclosed or unauthorized pets are subject to a $300 fee, per pet.
o Wi-Fi: This cabin includes Wi-Fi for your convenience. Please keep in mind that mountain weather can occasionally cause brief service interruptions. Wi-Fi is always available at our office and throughout downtown.
o Concierge Services: Grocery delivery, celebration packages, early check in/late check out. Additional fees apply. Based on availability and cleaning schedule.

Mountain Driving & Access: Mountain roads—both paved and gravel—can be steep, narrow, and winding. While part of the mountain charm, they require extra caution. Vehicle requirements (4WD, AWD, or FWD) are listed on each cabin page. Please feel free to call our team before booking or arrival if you have any access questions!

Navigation Note: Mountain GPS can be inaccurate. Once we receive your full payment and signed rental agreement, we will provide reliable turn-by-turn directions to guide you right to the door.

  This house is so comfortable and feels brand new. The beds, that special soaking tub, watching the clouds roll through the valley, listening to the Eastern Screech Owl ... we enjoyed our stay so much. We have stayed in houses that every step echoed, this house was nice and solid. We have stayed in houses that seemed to be in the mountains but were actually in a suburb. This one actually is in the mountains.

  The view alone is worth the trip up the mountains! The house is great, comfortable & spacious!
  I wish the deck and outdoor areas had more shade - it was HOT which prevented us from lounging on the gorgeous deck. We plan on coming back during cooler months to enjoy the outdoor features the house has to offer. Overall, we had a great stay and plan on coming back!

  We had a charming, relaxed weekend at Sunset Nook. The cabin kitchen was fully furnished to complement the gas grill on deck. I’m an avid backpacker and can attest the views from the house rival many you see on trail. The cabin is a quick hop to Bryson City and Silva; both with ample breweries and shopping. Definitely worth a stay!

  This was a beautiful house we stayed in, not far from Bryson City. Everything seemed new. Spacious and relaxing. Loved that there were TWO king beds.
  
  The only issue was on the last day, we had no water. Best guess was the pipes froze since it was so cold the night before. However you would think that the pipes would be better insulated if one was renting in December. No showers, teeth brushing or pottying(three small boys) made the last day very challenging. When we called the emergency number, no one answered. When we finally got a hold of someone in the office, their response was - well we have no control over the weather.
